Leisurely rides in your Subaru just got even better with the introduction of Subaru’s iPod Integration and Media Hub systems.
Drivers can now integrate their iPod to their Subaru vehicles, allowing them to stay connected no matter where the road takes them.
With the Subaru iPod Interface, Buffalo Subaru drivers can keep control of their iPods through a factory head unit and, when equipped, steering wheel controls.
When equipped with the newer models of the Subaru Outback or Subaru Legacy, both available at your Buffalo Subaru dealer, the Media Hub accessory can play music from USB mass storage devices as well as iPods.
Both the Subaru Media Hub and iPod Interface allow drivers to browse through their musical libraries with ease. Information is easy to read when displayed on the head unit or on the NAVI screen, and shows the artist, album and track for easy browsing. All of the iPods familiar playback modes are available, including repeat and shuffle options.
Although most Subaru vehicles have an auxiliary jack, the iPod Interface offers additional features – text display and battery charging.
Music isn’t available only through your iPod when using this system. Drivers can easily toggle between their mp3 player, AM/FM radio, and CDs, allowing for maximum variety for longer drives.
With Media Hub, compatibility with satellite radio and optional wireless streaming auto is available, adding even more versatility to the system. With the upgraded streaming auto option, all of the options of the basic system are available with the addition of the ability to wirelessly stream music from compatible devices and play that music through the Subaru’s stereo.
The location of the iPod dock in the center console keeps your mp3 player out of sight and out of the way, clearing the interior of unsightly cables and keeping your device safe from unexpected slips and spills.
When these features are added to Subaru’s available Harman Kardon premium audio system, drivers have the finest quality entertainment available at their fingertips.
With this system, arrays of speaker are installed around the cabin, and are pushed up by 440 watts of power for stunning clarity and realism. Using Digital Signal Processing, harmonic richness is achieved by way of high-end materials like neodymium magnets.
And if drivers choose to activate the satellite radio capabilities available with the Media Hub, they may be eligible for a three-month complimentary subscription to SIRIUS or XM satellite radio services.

2011 Subaru Legacy in Buffalo
The advent of a new model year for the Subaru Legacy serves as a reminder of what shapes this vehicle’s character – it’s thoughtful engineering, high level of equipment and superb driving dynamics.
The Legacy carries over that character for 2011 in the same model lineup as 2010 – three 2.5i models, one 2.5GT model, and three 3.6R models. Across the board, most standard and optional features remain the same, delivering an incredible value for anyone interested in a mid-size sedan.
New for 2011

The XM Satellite Radio is part of the harman/kardon®6 premium audio system (standard on Limited models, optional on Premium models) for 2011. Plus, vehicles with navigation receive the auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror with HomeLink®7. An optional rear-view mirror on Outback Premium and Limited models without the navigation system is an auto-dimming mirror with a 3.5-inch rear vision camera display. The system adds to convenience when driving in reverse. The mirror and camera are part of a new moon-roof package.

The Impreza 2.5i Premium has a new upgraded audio system, with six speakers, Bluetooth®14 audio streaming and hands-free calling, iPod® control capability, 3.5 mm auxiliary input jack, and USB port. An optional audio and TomTom® navigation system adds a 4.3-inch LCD touch-screen, removable portable navigation device, and rear vision camera (accessory option). XM and SIRIUS are not available with this system.
The Premium model also has a Special Edition Package, consisting of fog lights, power moon-roof, and All-Weather Package.
New for the Impreza Outback Sport is the Special Edition Package, consisting of power moon-roof and the audio and TomTom navigation system.
