Buffalo Subaru dealer, West Herr Subaru KIA dealer, is pleased to announce exiting news for Buffalo drivers.
Always looking to improve upon the quality our drivers have come to expect, your Buffalo Subaro dealer is proud to announce the newest design details for one of our most-loved vehicles.
As a method of premiering Subaru’s new “Confidence in Motion” design strategy, details of the Impreza’s Design concept were recently released at the LA Auto Show.
The Impreza has been Subaru’s global compact car since 1992, and with this new design concept, that classic quality that Subaru drivers know and trust receives some serious upgrades.
In two words, the concept can be described as sporty and lively. It combines much-desired environmental compatibility with the classically comfortable ride of previous Impreza models, while adding on the trusted performance of Subaru’s Symmetrical All Wheel Drive system.
Designers cite the blending of two ideas, “dynamic flow and confident stance,” as inspiration for the newly-premiered concept, highlighting the core values of Subaru’s engineering that produce dynamic performance, safety, quality and an enjoyable drive.
This four-door coupe features a roomy four-passenger interior, meaning plenty of space in the Impreza for guests or cargo.
The Impreza’s new design concept is clearly classic-Subaru when looked at from the front, with a hexagonal grille with spread wings in the center and hawk-eye style headlights. Building on this classic-Subaru feel, the design adds three-dimensional character in the construction of the hood, grille and headlights.
The front of the new Impreza design also features fin-shaped fog lamps and a low-and-wide stance, meant to convey reliability, safety and security.
In profile, the Impreza is sleek, with continuous lines running along the roof through to the rear of the vehicle. This design makes for a roomy cabin and outstanding aerodynamic performance. The simple and clean lines of the new Subaru Impreza design create a stark contrast with its powerful fender.
The rear of the Impreza brings back the hexagonal theme, with rear lights that follow a sharp-edge, stretching into the body sides of the vehicle. The rear and front bumper corners are shaped in the wind tunnel and further contribute to the car’s increased aerodynamic performance.
Even with all of these exterior upgrades, the interior of the Impreza was not ignored in the new design concept. The theme of the all-new interior is “Dynamic, Enticing, Secure,” and is clearly evidenced in the details of the new design.
The instrument panel has been integrated with the door trim and armrest, uniting the drive and making it seem even sportier. Platinum-leather seats with dark blue piping and double stitching, featuring a “layering” effect, give the interior a spacious and sophisticated feel.
Navigation is made easy with a large display screen in the center console that also integrates audio and vehicle information into its functions, with touch screen controls for even easier use. Controls built into the steering wheel make operation safe, too.
Safety will also be upgraded when the new Impreza is launched. The design concept highlighted an advanced driving-assist EyeSight system, Subaru’s own invention, to be installed along the front edge of the roof. The system displays images taken from an exterior camera and displays them on an interior screen, working as a collision-preventing feature making every drive in the new Impreza as safe as possible.
This all comes with the Subaru Boxer engine, which has already been introduced in currently-available Subaru vehicles. The 2.0-liter engine with Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission is the future of Subaru’s powertrain.
